I'm not ready yet but just got hired on a new job with a MUCH better salary. I want to get the complete car repainted...

I am going same color (pewter) and the paint is near perfect. There is normal rock chips for a 80k mile car.. Body perfectly straight.. Only "damage" is a key mark down the driver side. This will just need a sanding, it is just barely through the clear.

Do you guys wet sand entire car? I don't want it just straight painted over my original paint with no prep.. I want a quality job (and I will pay for it).

Let me know about what it will run so I know what I need to get together.
